Barr seeks Libertarian pres nomination

Finally, a potentially significant third party candidate? Former Rep Bob Barr is seeking the Libertarian presidential bid. Problem for McCain or for Obama? Barr's stated objectives are not exactly in line with GOP, and could take votes from Obama as well. Still early yet, but this could have interesting repercussions.

It's the economy AND the war, stupid!

America's apathy toward foreign affairs is still alive and well, as her sensitivity toward pocketbook pains is much greater than the lives and money lost in a war of choice. Obama must hit these issues hard and go after McCain. Imagine the economic state that this country would be in had billions of dollars not gotten wasted on the Iraq invasion and occupation. This point must be hammered home to the voters. Can we afford a third-term of Bush? A McBush administration? Now Obama can focus his attention on November.

It's Obama vs. McCain

Just a short one to declare that Hillary is done. Stick a fork in it! It's only a matter of time before she unplugs her campaign, and Obama will be the nominee. Hallelujah! I said to Michelle last night that a big win in NC for Obama and a narrow victory for Clinton in IN are two losses for Hillary.

Now let's really get down to some Dem vs. Rep, liberal vs. conservative talk. BRM, I know it's been really quiet, but you have yet to respond to my earlier questions about what the conservatives have achieved for America. I refer to the Feb 28 post entitled, "Opportunity to come together?"

Obama '08! All the way to the White House!
